Myanmar to launch Yangon ICT fair next month

YANGON, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar will launch ICT exhibition namely Yangon ICT Fair at Tatmadaw Hall here next month aimed at developing ICT and improving people's socio-economic life through ICT, according to Myanmar Computer Professional Association (MCPA) Tuesday.
Organized by the Myanmar Computer Industry Association (MCIA) in cooperation with Myanmar Computer Professional Association ( MCPA), the three-day fair is scheduled to take place from August 10 to 12.
With 158 booths, a total of 58 companies in the country will display the latest computer-related items, mobiles and electronic equipment,communication devices and books on IT technology.
Meanwhile, ICT exhibition, organized by the Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF), has been launched since 1999 to showcase Myanmar 's progress in ICT and enable youths in the country to keep up with the latest technology around the world.
