Luosiwan International Trade City of KM receives 300,000 daily visits

The average daily flow of visitors to the Luosiwan International Trade City of Kunming has reached 300,000 presently.

A 5.5-million-square-meter market, a 9-million-square-meter processing area and a 1-million-square-meter logistics park are included in the trade city which will be completed in 3 phases.

The phase I has been officially opened in December 2009. There are 23,000 shops and 15,000 traders have already entered into it. There are about 26 commodities including clothes, hosieries and stationeries.

The phase II has been officially opened on December 28th, 2010. There are 6 shopping centers including 15,000 shops and nearly 2,000 commodities.

Some commodities will be processed in the processing area if necessary, which is expected to promote the development of Luosiwan’s light industry.

Expected to be Pan-Southeast Asia’s top trade center, Luosiwan will be the largest commodities’ wholesale market in China.

Moreover, attendants for the Ninth Plenary Session of the Seventh CPC Kunming Municipal Committee have visited the trade city on January 6th 2011
