Kunming launches construction of international land port

The construction of international land port has been included in the city's key infrastructure projects from this year, reporters learned yesterday(September 28) from a meeting presided over by mayor of Kunming Zhang Zulin(张祖林).
According to the construction plan, the Wangjiaying International Land Port is expected to take shape and put into use by 2013. It will handle over 1 million TEUs annually.
Besides, Kunming will join hand with Guangzhou city, Shenzhen city and Guangxi province to realize cross-customs, regional and port-port cooperation.
